HostDaddy
Terms of Service

The deal between us.

Last updated: April 23, 2026 · Effective: April 23, 2026

Welcome. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of HostDaddy (the “Service”, “we,” “us,” or “HostDaddy”). By creating an account, connecting a project, or deploying a node, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What HostDaddy does

HostDaddy is a managed hosting service for blockchain earning nodes. You connect your account on a supported project, tell us how many nodes you want, and we deploy, monitor, and auto-heal those nodes 24/7 on infrastructure we control. Rewards earned by your nodes go directly to your project account — HostDaddy never holds or touches your rewards.

2. Accounts and household members

Your account

Household (sub-accounts)

If you manage nodes for other people — family members, partners, friends — you can add them to your household as sub-accounts. The master account holder is the only party that HostDaddy bills and communicates with for the household. The master is responsible for:

3. Connecting a project

To deploy nodes for a supported project, you give HostDaddy your email and password for that project. We perform a one-time authentication exchange to retrieve your unique ID and discard your password immediately. From that point on, we only use your unique ID; we never store, log, or share your project password.

Only the HostDaddy account holder can initiate connections. If you give another person your credentials outside of HostDaddy, that's between you and them — HostDaddy can't be responsible for credentials you share off-platform.

4. Pricing and payment

Volume pricing

HostDaddy uses tiered per-node pricing. The tier that applies is determined by your household's total node count. Current tiers and rates are published on hostdaddy.io/#pricing and may be updated from time to time; any tier change that would increase your existing nodes' price will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance.

Grandfathered pricing

Customers with accounts created before a tier update may be grandfathered in at their original rate. Grandfathered accounts continue at the lower of (a) their original rate or (b) the then-current tier rate for their node count — whichever is cheaper. When you add nodes, the then-current tier rate applies going forward.

Card payments (monthly or yearly)

Cancellation and refunds

Taxes

Prices are exclusive of applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar. Where HostDaddy is required to collect tax, it will be added to your invoice. You are responsible for paying any taxes on rewards you earn from the underlying project networks.

5. Acceptable use

When using HostDaddy, you agree not to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates this section, with or without notice depending on severity, and to report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.

6. Service availability

HostDaddy operates on a best-effort 24/7 basis. We auto-heal, monitor, and restart nodes as part of the service. We make no specific uptime commitment (no SLA) at this stage. Planned maintenance and brief interruptions may occur; we'll do our best to keep them short and to notify you for anything significant.

Rewards depend on the underlying project network, not on HostDaddy. If the project itself experiences downtime, reduces rewards, changes its rules, or terminates its program, HostDaddy is not liable for reduced earnings.

7. Intellectual property

HostDaddy owns the platform — the software, designs, trademarks, and documentation. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose while your account is active and in good standing. You don't acquire any right to our branding or code beyond that license.

You own your own data: your account info, your unique IDs, and the rewards earned by your nodes. We act only as the operator that makes the service work.

8. Termination

You can terminate

Cancel from the billing portal anytime. On cancellation, your account remains active until the end of your paid period, then your nodes are torn down and your account moves to a read-only archive. Your data is retained for up to 24 months per our Privacy Policy, then deleted.

We can terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

We'll tell you why whenever we can. For non-payment, we'll always try to reach you first before shutting anything down.

9. Warranties and disclaimers

HostDaddy is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or earning a specific amount of rewards. You use HostDaddy at your own risk.

Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot be waived under applicable law where you live.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain liability limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HostDaddy, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your breach of these Terms, (c) your violation of any law or any third-party right, or (d) content or credentials you provide to HostDaddy.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any lawsuit that isn't subject to arbitration below is the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Informal resolution first

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing [email protected]. We'll do the same. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, either side may proceed.

Binding arbitration

Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Arbitration will take place in Salt Lake County, Utah, or remotely by agreement. You and HostDaddy waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions or representative proceedings. Small-claims court remains available as an alternative for qualifying disputes.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes — anything that increases your obligations or reduces your rights — we'll notify you by email at the address on your account at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that counts as acceptance. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the effective date and retain the benefit of the existing Terms through the end of your paid period.
